Humble Pranam to All,

I have been learning Dhrupad. One of the most honoured lineages of Dhrupad is found in Dagars. I have been trying to understand the lyrics of this composition sung by Ustad Sayeeduddin Dagar Ji but could not make much sense of it.

Listen from 0:00 to 3min 30 sec mark

I was wondering if others can identify the source of this composition.
This is a very meditative rendition, and it would be amazing if I could sing it too.

Sincerely,
Aditya

Dear Kenp Ji,
Thank you for the links.

I am however, searching for lyrics of this particular composition that I have linked:
Any leads?

Regards
Aditya

Dear Asopaji,

The link you have shared is of Alapa which does not contain any lyrics i.e. their is no bandish... Would you please resend the link where that Bhairava bandish could be found? I suppose that should be "Shiva Aada Madha Anta".. signature bandish of Dagar's.

Best wishes,
