We are pleased to invite you to the International Workshop on Computational Sanskrit, to be held from 25–27 July 2026 at the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka.

The workshop is jointly organised by the Centre for Digital Humanities, MILHS, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Bengaluru, and the Department of Sanskrit, University of Jaffna. It is generously supported by the India–Sri Lanka Foundation, New Delhi. The workshop brings together researchers, faculty members, students, and practitioners interested in Sanskrit, Buddhist Studies, computational linguistics, digital humanities, and related disciplines.

The workshop will be held immediately prior to the 31st International Lexical-Functional Grammar Conference. If you are in or around Jaffna during this period, we would be delighted to welcome you to the workshop.
