Reference for Prana (Vayu)

Respected Esteemed Scholars,

I am looking for references to 5 Prana vayus like prana, samana, udana etc. and 5 upa pranas like naga, kurma etc.  from ancient texts. I am looking for its location and role with a physiological viewpoint. I have also learned that certain texts have mentioned 49 prana vayus. 

It will be of great help if I get the reference texts for the same.

The functions of Upavayu are mentioned in Trishikha Brahmana Upanishad (86-87); Yoga Yajnavalkya (Chapter IV 64-72) and in Vedantasara.

        Pancha Vayu, its location  and function  from the physiological point, is explained in Ayurveda very detail,

                     AH  sutrasthan, 11 दोषादि   विज्ञानीयाध्यायः  १२,दॊष भेदीय़ अध्याय;, १३ दोषोपक्रमणीय़ा अध्याय, 

 अष्टांग सग्रह  सूत्रस्थान  १९ दोषादिविज्ञानीयाध्यायः, २०दॊष भेदीय़ अध्याय;, २१, दोषोपक्रमणीय़ा अध्याय, 

  गुण  कर्म of vata is given in the first chapter of sutrasthan, astanga hridaya, and Sangraha .

2)  caraka samhita  chikitsa sthana vatavyadhi chikitsitam  shloka no 5-11 pancha vayu functions has been explained.

            In other Samhitas also has been given.  above these references are from  brihatrayees.
