Dear Scholars, Devotees, and Spiritual Seekers,
I am delighted to share that Mantra Artha Initiative, (Mantrartha) a repository of in-depth, pre-recorded video lectures on Vedic healing mantras, stotras, Yoga philosophy, and the Bhagavad Gītā.has touched 400 hours of content
What is the Mantra Artha Initiative?
It is a carefully curated project aimed at bridging the gap between the chanting of Vedic texts and a clear understanding of their meaning.
Though these mantras and stotras are chanted with devotion, their deeper significance often remains unexplored — this initiative aims to remedy that by providing lucid English explanations by Dr. M. Jayaraman, a traditionally trained Vedic scholar.
As the Nirukta reminds us:
“योऽर्थज्ञ इत् स सकलं भद्रमश्नुते … ज्ञानविधूतपाप्मा” — One who understands the meaning attains well-being, and knowledge purifies from faults.
What Content Is Covered?
The initiative offers a broad and rich curriculum, organized into thematic areas:
