I feel pleasure on behalf of Chinmyananda International Foundation (Shodha Sansthan) and Family to announce the Foundation Day Celebration on 24th February 2013 along with the award presentation of Swami Chinmayananda Gold Medal on the Same day. It will be inaugurated by Respected and Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, RSkS, New Delhi, Prof. Radha Vallabha Tripathiji and the award will be presented by Swami Advayananda to Prof. Srinivas Varkhedi, Karnatak Sanskrit University, Bangalore. The three members of the selection committee of the award, Prof. N. P. Unni, Prof. V.N. Jha and Prof. Raman Kutty have selected the awardee. The programme schedule is attached for your kind information.

Congrats to both, Dr. Srinivas Varakhedi, the recipient, and CIF the giver for their unique feat.

Sri Varakhedi is really one of the best scholars of our time having a deep knowledge of Shastras as well as a good administrative personality.

At the same time CIF has started a very good method of encouraging the Sanskrit scholars.
