Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri, Kollam Campus, invites applications for an opportunity to contribute to a critical edition project. We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team on a contract basis or as monthly salaried employees (25k-35k, based on expertise) to engage in manuscript-related work.

Position: Research Assistant (Critical Edition Project)

Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the research team on the critical edition project.
2. Work on manuscript analysis, transcription, and documentation.
3. Contribute to the understanding and interpretation of texts in multiple scripts.
4. Engage in scholarly discussions and present findings as needed.

Qualifications:
1. Master's degree.
2. Proficiency in multiple scripts is highly desirable.
3. Strong research and analytical skills.
4. Excellent attention to detail and precision in manuscript-related work.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a research-oriented environment.

6. Knowledge of Odia, Grantha, and Newari scripts
