तत्र भवतां भवतां सविधे प्रार्थना |

निद्रासूक्तेति नाम्ना कश्चन वेदमन्त्रसमूहः वर्तते वा ? यदि वर्तते तर्हि निद्रासूक्ते के मन्त्राः पठिताः ? इति विज्ञाप्यताम् |

भवदीयः

परमेश्वरः ||

त्रातारो देवा अधि वोचता नो मा नो निद्रा ईशत मोत जल्पिः ।

वयं सोमस्य विश्वह प्रियासः सुवीरासो विदथमा वदेम ॥ऋग्वेद ८/४८/१४

​इत्यत्र एक एव निद्राशब्दः प्रयुक्तः ऋग्वेदे। निद्रासूक्तमिति न श्रुतं मया, नाप्यन्यत्र कुत्रचिद् ऋग्वेदे न श्रूयते।​

अन्यैर्वैदिकसाहित्याभिज्ञैरत्र

​ समाधानं दीयेत।

इति विरमामि।​
