Dear members,

I encountered this AI generated Sanskrit sentence:

> पुनःपुनः अवचितः अपि वृक्षः यथा पुनः पल्लवितः भवति, तथैव विक्रमस्य उत्साहः वर्धते स्म।

I have a specific question about the first clause:

> यथा पुनः पल्लवितः भवति

The sentence compares a tree being cut down and then becoming something, to Vikrama's enthusiasm increasing. The core question is: what is *पल्लवितः* doing in this clause?

Two possibilities we see:

1. पल्लवितः is a past passive participle from a root meaning "sprout leaves," so the clause means "just as [the tree] becomes sprouted [with leaves] again"

2. *पल्लवितः* is a denominative adjective meaning "leafy, endowed with leaves," so the clause means "just as [the tree] becomes leafy again"

I am trying to determine whether its grammar is actually sound, or whether the AI has produced something that looks plausible but is structurally confused.

- Is *पल्लवितः भवति* a natural construction in classical narrative prose?
- If so, which analysis is correct — participle or denominative adjective?

Thank you for any guidance,
Vishal
