Bugbears of spelling and pronunciation:

Some of their titles still spell grammar as grammer (on even cover pages)!

(unfortunately). [Some books of Late C Ananthachar (Bangalore) also spelt it so!]

Long ago, I recommended some of their publications to a foreign student,

and he said "Yes, I know this वध्यर् publisher" !

Can there be a better 'compliment' to the 'beauty' of English?
