"Justification" of Temple Desecration by Muslims in India

I came across this research paper document.

I would like to see rejoinders from traditional scholars to this paper.

I briefly skimmed through it. Some questionable parts.

The author observes that often Muslims would deecrtae Vedic temples of opposing kingdoms. But when a Muslim or Hindu attacked a Muslim state the Mosques were seldom desecrated.

He then comes up with a specious theory that ignores the obvious as to why that was so, which to me seems like eleborate hand waving.
