to Bharatiya Vidvat parishad
Dear friends,,
Thomas C Burke at Harvard was a personal friend and a friend to India.
He fits into the Brahmasutra theory that man is born for a purpose in
consonance with his/her previous lives.  Tom passed away in May, 2023.
We had our first Symposium last year.  There were five presentations,
three completed papers are included in the proceedings.  The proceedings
hardcopy can be acquired through Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G516SFWY
The PDF can be available from our website https://www.indiadiscoverycenter.org
or by writing to me/us.
I am giving the announcement of the second Symposium below. The topic
will be Panini and Grammar.  We have expanded a bit through subtopics
in the attached notice for participation.  We will offer a $50 honorarium for
the completed papers accepted for the Proceedings in order to encourage
young authors and newer ideas.
We welcome Dr. Abhijit Mandal, an Assistant Professor of Sanskrit in Cooch Behar
University, West Bengal, India as a part of the Organizing Committee.
Best regards,
Bijoy Misra
