Ancient India was a land of thriving scienti

Even classical Sanskrit literature often features science, particularly biology and medicine. Dr. S. Sundara Rajan is an eminent botanist and currently holds the directorship of CASB, Jain University. With over 50 years of experience in research and teaching, his expertise spans the areas of Botany, Biotechnology, medicinal plants of India and philosophy of Science. He is a prolific author and has over 70 books to his credit. He is also the recipient of numerous awards for his contributions to Biology and the history of Indian Science. Dr. Rajan’s erudite knowledge of history and Sanskrit literature combined with his scholarship in Biology, marks him as the foremost authority on the history of Indian biology.
