శ్రావణ ద్వాదశి (śrāvaṇa dvādaśi).

Dear Sir,

 

I do not know పంచాఙ్గ (paṁcāṅga) but when I saw calendar it is mentioned today as శ్రావణ ద్వాదశి (śrāvaṇa dvādaśi). But this month is భాద్రపద (bhādrapada).  Is శ్రావణ (śrāvaṇa) in శ్రావణ ద్వాదశి (śrāvaṇa dvādaśi ) not related to శ్రావణ మాస (śrāvaṇa māsa)?

This is 'श्रवणा नक्षत्रयोगः' . The द्वादशी तिथि along with श्रवणा नक्षत्रं is called श्रावणद्वादशी

There are the twin concepts of nakshatra and month. Of the 27 stellar constellations called nakshatra over 365 days twelve are named after them. Thus we have sravaNa nakshatram and sraavaNa maasam.
