Dear BVPians,

Namasthe.

My heart goes with deep satisfaction to all those engaged in different relief operations at various places in chennai which was hit by unprecedented rain & floods, individually or jointly with other organisations.

BVP central office had dispatched Rs.1lac./= an initial contribution towards relief work .

An appeal has been sent to members all over India, from our National President Sri.Sitaram Parekh to contribute to Chennai Flood Relief.

Our National Vice President for all southern zones, Sri Aswini Subbaraoji, has informed a contribution of Rs.1lac and also will be sending appeals to all members in these zones.

Our Zonal Patron Sri.G Bhaskaran and past presidents have come forward to assist financially for relief work.

We thank all the above members and national team for coming out generously to help BVP Tamil Nadu

Even though BVPians in this pranth are less in numbers we are shouldering a greater responsibility to society.

In view of the above,  I suggest the state form

This committee shall look into the needs of flood affected victims and decide to carry out the relief measures accordingly. This committee shall submit the report on the action taken on various tasks to the Center and also maintain records and accounts for submission whenever required by the Central office.

Prof.PM Gopalakrishna, Sri.Chella Subramaniam,G.Bhaskaran and V.Sankar will be advisors.

The above names are suggestive and I request the State office bearers to suitably include the names after getting members consent ,to take up this service.

Those who are already in the commitment of National Mahila work shop, please pass on the flood relief inquiries to this committee for appropriate decision and try to focus on tasks undertaken already for the conduct of the workshop.

If ok , please confirm and lets get started without delay.

Dear Sir,

Saw your mail.  Even though it is our national organisation, and after sending funds to chennai, I do not know why decisions are being changing day by day.  I past one week, neglecting my health and business, doing lots of activities to the affected persons, might be others also doing the work.  The thing is, first sankar sir told to do service work in one area from pranth side, accepts by all.  Then option changed to do number of programmes in all branches, then again, now formed committee.  Already in emergency situation, i called a meeting for this purpose at Smt. Sujatha Rao residence, except sankar sir, kannan ji and myself attended, the remaining no one attends the meeting.  Now you all think of this, when people are suffering from real help, if you are prolonging like this, i wont think this is not good one.  We just received 1 lakh from central office, we are not in a position even to distribute the funds to needy, how can the centre will keep confidence in sending further amount and to what extent we may reach the public.  Actually, if we keep appeal to states and central office in proper time, we may get few lakhs of rupees, real existence of bvp in all areas will be noted.  I am not supporting anyone or against anyone, but my inner heart feeling makes me so sad in this issue.  Let's all branches, please try to cooperate atleast at the time of emergency situations.  By this mail, if i hurts anyone, i am sorry, that i am sending this mail for the development of our organisation.  In this issue, if anyone talks to me, please feel free to call me.

Dear All,

As per suggestion made by Sri Sankar ji, i called upon yesterday meeting at the residence of Sri V. satagopan. Sri P.M. Gopal krishnan, Gupta Sir, Rakesh ji, Gurumurthy sir attended and we finalised some of the decisions for flood relief work.

1. Activities to be done through all branches especially presently at 2 branches namely Adambakkam and Tambaram.  Incharges will be made at that branches with their consultations of pst's.  Whatever the things they need to distribute to that areas, our pranth will supply to the branches and all the materials will be kept at the residence of Sri Satagopan and branches can collect the materials from that point.  Materials will be given according to the needs specified by branches depending upon the exact needs of vicitims in that area.

2. Service activities can be organised either only by BVP banner and/or in association with any other NGO's.

3.The branches if program is being organised, it should be informed to all their members and make them to participate in that activities.

4. Medical camp can be organised in any branch.  Our Anna nagar president Sri Gupta will guide us as already they are having immediate team to serve.

Any other details i will send either by mail or sms.
