Career Guidance lectures to 9th & 12th Std students.

As online school has re-started this scholastic year (2022-23), VOBA initiated its project of career guidance lecture series for our students, mainly from the 9th Std to 12th Std.

The intention is to get speakers from various professional disciplines like Engineering, Medical, Defense, Information Technology, Management, Finance, Start Ups, etc.

The speakers will be mostly Ex Vincentians from the younger generation. This will help to build up a good connect with our school students. 

On 22nd July 2022, the first lecture on Career Guidance was held for our Commerce students of Std 12. Our expert speakers were Mr.Bakir Cherawala and Mr.Porus Nawale (both being Chartered Accountants)

They guided the students with their knowledge & experience in their respective fields. The students had an interactive session and asked many questions of the speakers.

This is an initiative of the SVHS Principal Fr.Patekar with the lead taken by VOBA president Vikram Kering and the VOBA Executive Committee members. 

The VOBA intends to take this project forward in a more concerted way.
