A few Vincentians could attend & represent grateful school students, at the funeral service at the Holy Spirit Church at Margao, which was held on the evening of Tue, 13th Aug.

Besides the three Vincentians, there was Fr.Michael Albuquerque - a Cappuchin priest, who is a Vincentian from batch of 1992, who was co-celebrant at the Mass.

Vincentian Rahul Chandawarkar (batch of 1979) could share a few things about Ms.Furtado from himself and a few of his batchmates.

It is interesting to note the sentiments shared by her students of over 40 years ago.

She certainly had a pleasant, patient, caring nature.

She made an impact on so many young impressionable minds, that hasn't been erased with time.

God be merciful to her 🙏

 *Hi friends- my 1979 Vincentian batchmates, John D'Silva, Oswald Carvalho and I were able to attend the Eucharistic celebrations for Miss.Marie Furtado, our German teacher in Goa this evening*.

*We were also fortunate to meet Fr.Michael Albuquerque, Goa based Capuchin priest and Vincentian junior from the 1992 batch. He was co-celebrant at the mass*
