Updation of contact details in VOBA records.

Dear VOBA Member,

A small note after the 26th AGM of 22.11.2025.

About 167 members came and voted for their choice, for elevation to the Executive Committee.

The process of voting was supervised by R.O Dr.Nitin Shah (77) assisted by Nisar Shaikh (75), Brig Kevin Mendonca (76) & Murtuza Poonawalla (94)

At the registration table Tom Jacob (77), Wilbur Francis (05), Richard Fernandes (78) volunteered.

Of the 4 candidates, the following 2 were elected for a 3 year term (2025 to 2028) : Arthur Morris (74) & Vikram Kering (77)

Sadly, the number of members who attended the AGM which followed was just about 28 of which only 6 earlier EC members (out of 14) attended.   {The 2 candidates to the EC who were earlier elected unopposed attended - Nirmal Makhija (92) & Darryl Cardoza (87) were present} 

This dismal attendance of the AGMs was pointed out by the R.O & a senior member - Mohinder Kandhari (75), with their appeal to the EC to ensure better attendance in the future.

Happily, 3/4 members had given their contact details to update in the VOBA records (which has already been done in the offline/online database of members)

After studying the emails ID's & mobile nos recorded in the Attendance Register, we can hope that details of a few more will also get updated.

Having your correct email/mobile ensures that timely VOBA communications will reach you.

Two requests :-

1. Inform your VOBA classmates and other VOBA friends to submit their contact details, if they are not receiving emails.

2. Do seek to enroll your classmates and other Vincentian friends as VOBA Members.
