Hi !

Is there any way to connect from bVNC to UltraVNC repeater, in case connection is secured via SecureVNCPlugin.dsm ?

Thanks in advance !

I am also using UltraVNC with Adam Walling's SecureVNCPlugin. it uses the following:
Default configuration uses 2048-bit RSA keys and 256-bit AES keys.
RSA public-key cryptography supports 512-, 1024-, 2048-, and 3072-bit keys.
Configurable choice of symmetric ciphers and keys:
Recommended ciphers: AES: Supports 128-, 192-, and 256-bit keys.
Other ciphers: Blowfish: Supports 56-, 128-, 192-, 256-, and 448-bit keys.
 IDEA: Supports 128-bit keys.
CAST5: Supports 56- and 128-bit keys.
 ARC4: Supports 56-, 128-, 192-, and 256-bit keys.
Will any of these work with bVNC?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you know that I revisited the SecureVNCPlugin for UltraVNC recently and saw that it was included in the main UltraVNC project and is being maintained together with the server.

As a result,  in version v6.4.5 of bVNC (in Beta as of June 22, 2026), I have released support for all main features of SecureVNCPlugin for UltraVNC, including:

    - Support for all AES-based ciphers
    - SecureVNCPlugin Passphrase authentication
    - SecureVNCPlugin + MS-Logon 1 and 2 authentication as alternative to passphrase
    - Client key authentication
    - Client key generation and import
    - Best-effort connection in "Basic VNC" mode

Join the beta on Google Play, or install v6.4.5 from:

or F-Droid repo:

Switch to "UltraVNC" for the Connection Type to see the full range of new options related to the feature.
