M2 MBA Unable to aSpice into a Proxmox Environment

Hello!

 

I just bought aSpice pro to help me connect to VMs on my proxmox server using spice, however it fails to connect to the VM for some reason. I am able to get into the same VM using spice on a linux laptop I have, but not on my Macbook Air, saying that the server refused the connection.

 

Any ideas?

Hello,

Could you please attach a log of your connection attempt?

- Please keep in mind that if you take more than 30 seconds before you click on the .vv file which makes the temp credentials stored in it invalid. This seems to be a common issue.

- Another issue could be that the app asked you for permission to make connections on the network and you denied it. You can enable it in Privacy & Security -> Local Network -> aSPICE (toggle to ON).
