QWERTZ Keyboard doesent work properly

Hi there,

by using a Chromebook and ardp i got the following problem.

On Chromebook everything works fine, e.g. by pressing "ALT GR" + "Q" theres a "@", by pressing "-" theres a "-" pressing "ö" theres a "ö" so fatr so good.

By accessing an Windows 10 PC by aRDP there is by pressing "ALT GR" + "q" a "q", by pressing "-" a "ß" by pressing "ö" a "ö" and so far. It's not really a qwerty layout neither an qwertz layout. Shift seems to be working, the numer keys work, the symbols of the number keys also works.

Sorry need a little more detail in order to assist.

When you say using Chromebook via aRDP do you mean you are running aRDP on some host device to reach a Chromebook remote host or you are actually running aRDP on your Chromebook to connect to some remote host?

What is running aRDP and what is the remote host in this case along with their respective keyboard layouts?

In the case of connecting to a remote Windows 10 machine, same question.

Hi Steffen,

How does the following version I just built work for you? It uses a
completely different way to send characters over (unicode rather than
vkcode):

Please let me know if there are issues with it both with hardware and
software keyboards!
