Good Day, is there a way from termux to open my bvnc pro with a specific saved profile?

Good Day,
My attempts using either methods 1 or 2 below fails with very odd/inconsistent bvnc behaviors (i.e. connection refused notices, results in creating weirdly named NEW bvnc session profiles that won't connect anywhere, prompting for credentials but then failing with too many security failures notice). I have two existing connection profiles that work fine via the android bvnc GUI, one to a remote host via SSH and the other to a vnc server on localhost. The two commandline methods I've tried:

1) am start com.iiordanov.bVNC/com.iiordanov.bVNC.RemoteCanvasActivity

2) termux-open-url vnc://10.0.0.1:5900

Virtually,
Doug

Hi Douglas,

How about:

am start vnc://com.iiordanov.bVNC.CONNECTION%3A0
am start vnc://com.iiordanov.bVNC.CONNECTION%3A1
am start vnc://com.iiordanov.bVNC.CONNECTION%3A2

to start connection 0, 1, 2 respectively, for example?

Cheers,
iordan

Good Day Sir,
I appreciate you response and command examples but I had no success with similar result to the two methods I've already tried. I don't quite know how to troubleshoot further. Does bVNC support URI handlers? If there's something you would like me to try, I'm willing. nonetheless, thank you.

Hi Doug,

Wanted to update my answer since I've been going through the code that deals with intents. If you have the non-pro version of bVNC installed you'd have to do the following:

am start vnc://com.iiordanov.freebVNC.CONNECTION%3A0
am start vnc://com.iiordanov.freebVNC.CONNECTION%3A1
am start vnc://com.iiordanov.freebVNC.CONNECTION%3A2

in order to launch it. Sorry for not picking up on that originally!

Cheers,
iordan
