aRDP physical Keyboard issue

Just tested the aRDP App with Samsung Dex with a physical monitor and keyboard attached. The display works just fine, but physical keyboards generate random duplicate keypresses (letters become duplicated) and the android autocorrect feature seems to be enabled. Virtual keyboard works fine though.

That's a little unfortunate since aRDP does a better job than MS Remote Desktop app with the configurable DPI on 4k screens.

Hey Aurangzeb,

Could you please join the Beta for aRDP? There are changes to the keyboard implementation pending there, and you can help figure out the duplicate key issue.

Are you able to easily reproduce it and post a video so we can see the issue?

Joined the beta. Here's a video of the issue, but you cannot see the autocorrect interfering, just the duplication.

Hi Aurangzeb,

Does it change anything if you select a different keyboard type from the settings?

To try, on the main screen, hit the wrench, select Software Keyboard Type, and try the other ones there.

I'm having the same (or a similar) problem with a Samsung tablet and BT keyboard (works fine in all other constellations, so there isn't a keyboard issue).

On a remote windows session the right keys arrive (after having switched to Unicode Entry), but they are all double. I have enabled beta mode (w/o seeing any info about it in the app - Do I need to look somewhere specific?) and my version is 4.5.6-115460 (aRDP pro). I have also tried all software keyboard settings.

Is there any advice for me?

Does it change anything if you change the type of "software keyboard" in the "Default settings" dialog? (Hamburger -> Default Settings)?
