I recently updated from 1.8 to 1.9.1 from the github page.
For captured some data this weekend and when I loaded it up in bvhacker all I get is a tpose with no motion data.  Clicking Play does nothing.  I cannot click and drag the playhead either.  I can load the same bvh file into Poser or Blender and I see all the motion data.

Has anyone else run into similar issues?  Weird thing is I can still load older bvh files into  bvhacker and get playback.

The frame time (bottom left above the transport slider) shows a frame time of 876000 mS - i.e. it will take 876 seconds to play one frame.
It also says frame number 1 of 0 in the bottom left, which tends to suggest the file has no MOTION section - are you sure the bvh file has any motion data?

Yes. It loads all 876 frames of motion data when I import it into Blender or Poser.
The data can also be seen when opened in a text editor.
Ive attached the bvh file if you want to look at it.   I am getting the same results for all of the bvh files Ive exported from Axis Neuron Pro.

I think I found the reason.  I was looking in text for a difference between the older captures that still load and the new ones that are not. (since also updating to Axis Neuron Pro)
I see the new bvh files all have a blank line after all of the joints are named, right between "MOTION" and "Frames: ###".
I think for some reason this blank line might be why bvhacker is unable to read all the data.  After I deleted it the motion data loads up in bvhacker.
Is anyone able to update bvhacker to ignore that blank line so it can still load the motion data?

Lol - just came in to say I'd found the same thing.
Unfortunately, I don't have a machine set up to C++ dev at the moment. If / when I get around to another iteration on bvhacker I'll put in a fix..

MOTION
<--- I've never seen an extra line here in 15 years of opening bvh files!
