I just checked in on bvhacker and found that there is a version that works with win7 but my problem is with the fixed window it assumes that you have a 1024X 768 screen so on my system (1024*600)  a good sized chunk of the screen is chopped off (and there are controls in that area).

any hints on what would be needed to resize the program window??

also it would be nifty if the program came with a t-pose bvh to begin with.

I have the exact same problem and I have a 1366 X 768 screen resolution. The bottom part of the BVHACKER window is cut off by my taskbar. I can move the window up so that the title bar is right at the top of the screen edge and then I can get to the play, stop and pause controls but just barely. The very bottom edge of the bvhacker window is still cut off

Is there a work around for this?

Hmm - I designed bvhacker's interface on a small 1280 x 1024 screen 7 years ago - and that was considered a small screen back then! I really didn't think that anyone would be using smaller screens than that in the future - looks like that was an unsafe assumption.

1280 by 1024 is the smallest size bvhacker will go to, and will expand to any screen bigger than that.

Sorry I can't be more help,

where in the code is the screen setup?? I have solved the problem
myself my getting my hands on a monitor but it looks like assuming you
have a minimum of 1024 vertical hits a couple edge cases.

Yep, I didn't foresee people using smaller resolution screens 7 years into the future!

The re-sizing is generally handled by the MFC framework in the code and should be editable via the Ui design tools in Visual Studio...
