to My Dream - A Success Path
What do we learn as a management student from Anna Hazare’s Movement
against Corruption?
I am sure it is gonna surprise you to hear that what is the
relationship between Anna Hazare’s movement and management? But my
friends, let me tell you that it would be very interesting to analyze
this whole movement from management’s perspective…
I would highlight some principles and you just have to relate it with
management:
1. Mission and Vision-To pass Janlokpal Bill
2. Team Efforts-A team consisting of Anna Hazare, Arvind Kejrival,
Prashant Bhushan, Shanti Bhushan, Swami Agnivesh, Kiran Bedi
3. Marketing of the whole movement-Media Efforts and 4 P’s of
Marketing (Product-Gandhi Topi, Place-Ramlila Maidan, Promotion-By
Anna Hazare)
4. Communication-Great Communication, should be to the point,
understandable by the receivers
5. Human Resource-Volunteers Great Strengths, Organization exists ‘of
the people, for the people, by the people’
6. Financing of the whole Movement -Feeding such a huge gathering of
people is a challenge as it is with case of the company
7. Strategy Development and Implementation- How to deal with
Government who is constantly giving tough competition and develop
strategies to pass the bill and implement it
8. Leadership-Anna Hazare’s leadership skills
Your feedback on this issue is always welcome.
