Berjaya Langkawi

I’ve noticed that the rooms are all fully booked until September 2011, even on weekdays. I find this very unusual as I’ve no problem making weekdays reservation for this resort in the last 3 years.

Strangely enough there’s lots of availability from September to mid Nov.

Anyone know what’s the reason?

I also noticed that fr Feb11 until Sept11, most are Not Available....\When I cann up to asked, they said if u see the N/A...that mean not available. They cannot do anything!!!!

Is there anything anyone can do? Like I mention, it is highly unlikely 99% of the units on WEEKDAYS are taken up.

I managed to get 1 room for checking in 6-11 April 2011. My booking was made way back in May last year!!!!  I have my booking confirmed only after I screamed at them, for not being able to offer me my room confirmation even with 1 year's advanced notice  :p

Hi, very interesting to note how our friend got her booking done inspite of one year's booking. This shows how cronic our problem has been with BVC in term of booking chances.

I have my booking for KL Plaza in April 2011 done in Dec. 2010. Thanks god this is my second time trying this facility. The last time was well back in 2007 and the room they gave me on the 6th floor if I'm not mistaken was leaking right on my bed from where? I hope this time no such nonsense will happen.

I faced the same fate. Tried to book Berjaya in July 2011 since Nov 2010..
I did try BVC affiliate hotel in Lgkawi, but it is also fully booked.. (sigh..).

I got to find another hotel via www.booking.com very soon.

I am very frustrated...

www.agoda.com is better, cheaper and faster... even can beat Berjaya
affiliates surcharge too..

Me too, I was at the meeting and may I ask anyone who know the outcome of the meeting? Since I understand that there is no Liasion Committee who is representing us? Is the ROS or SC aware of what has become of the Berjaya Management.
