I have just come back from staying at KL Plaza Suites (3 to 7 Jan 2012). I booked two 3-room apartments and were given Units 605 and 608. The condition is still pathetic - Leaking aircon units. Faulty lights and phone. Torn sofas, dirty kitchen, switches in the kitchen labelled "Rosak", and foul smell in the bathrooms. At night, the loud music and 'boom boom' from the night club on Level 4 below went on whole night and kept us awake till 6am.
My niece and husband from England could not stand the condition and switched to a two-bedroom unit at Fahrenheit Suites in the same building which cost RM580 a night, and it is a world of difference. Beautiful decor, clean, new furniture and wifi. My niece said the BVC rooms were not fit enough even for maids.

I attach 4 photos here. The first three show the conditions in KL Plaza suites room 605, and the last photo shows the living room of the Fahrenheit Suite.

I stayed there in Dec but was on higher floor, can't recall which
level. As for 605 & 608, I had stayed there for few times each during
my initial booking when I just became a member. room condition... so-
so. Just like what you see in the picture torn sofa, chip off here
and there, leaking bathtub....etc.. noisy air-con unit and
light....etc... I thought that was norm for their standard, that's why
never bother, just want to stay and not pay for hotel...

My recent stay at KL Plaza, sofa has an area which as a slip but not
totally torn. One of the main hall light not working and very noisy
lighting system at corridor leading to both the rooms (2 unit bedroom)
Also, something happen too. The glass jug I used to pour hot water
into from the electric kettle crack into 2 on the very 1st time I pour
water into it. However, it was change the next day when housekeeping
came at 9am. That was real early, didn't expect them to be that
early. In fact, 3 girls came, likely to be Foreign workers, not
local unlike previous year. every day they came at ~9am to clean up.
Clean up took ~15-20 min. I saw what they did, although not very
standard, but I felt satisfactory with their work, that's the only
plus point. But I also think they are far too early for me... that's
my opinion.

Hi All,

I believe let them close down is not a win win situation...We need to sit down with the committee and discuss through.

We understand that from the contract after certain years that you don't pay the maintenance fees , BVC have the right to void the contract and basically we are the losing end.

I prefer if we can have an agreement with BVC , if we really need totally end this contract. ( we may loose some but we don't lose it all )

Please do advise

Thank you
