Booking for less than 7 days to check-in date

Hi,

I was thinking of going for a last minute trip to Tioman next Mon-Fri but found out that I can't book for Mon-Tue because it is less than 7 days from the check-in date.

I was wondering what's the reason for not allowing booking for 7 days from check-in date? Anyone have any idea why it was implemented? I remember I could book with 1 day to the check-in date (book today, go to resort tomorrow) back in 2009.
