Sorry for the spam, but I'm also selling a 52 cm Jamis track bike. See http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/bik/3947436271.html for details.

Thanks!

Alright, this is like the 6th "selling my bike" / "want to buy a bike" post to this list I've got this weekend. It isn't a buy & sell. Or if it is let me know so I can unsubscribe. I'd do that now, but I worry about missing important velodrome messages. Can we cut it out? Please?

I don't mind them - it's good to see some activity and I've forwarded two posts to others. One email a while back lead to me unexpectedly selling a bat bike, so I'm biased. :)

However, sales emails aren't "announcements" which was the idea behind this list...important track notices (closures, events, etc.). Instead there's a bvc-discuss list for that kind of thing...it just never caught on.

Can someone with admin verify the "discuss" email address and post to announce so people are reminded and can start using it? If you don't want to "discuss" stuff...rule it to the trash. :)

Agree. I actually welcome them as it is a great way to get new riders on velodrome ready quality bikes. Of course they can also go on the BVC Facebook page. Now when non members start to use it I could develop some issues...
