Velodrome closed Friday and Saturday - Friday night racing cancelled this week.

Apologies for the short notice, but the board has made the difficult
decision to limit riding on the track to one program on Friday afternoon
(with special riding restrictions) and no riding on Saturday. This
means that Friday night racing and the later coached session will be
cancelled on Friday.

There were a number of crashes this week. The track has been inspected
today and, while we found no significant problems other than the normal
wear and tear, out of an abundance of caution we felt the need to limit
the riding for the next couple of days to perform our usual maintenance
procedures.

If any members are interested in helping with the work we would
appreciate it. Please contact me directly at Mike.F...@shaw.ca, our
initial work session will be Friday evening - with a possible second
session on Saturday.
