    IBM is conducting an off-campus drive for the position of Associate-Technical Operations  at GIT- Belagavi on 12/13 /14 May. Below stated is the Job description, eligibility criteria  and selection process.   

    Eligibility criteria:

      Eligible Degrees
      BTech/BE, MTech/ME. MCA,Dual Degree(B.Tech/BE+M.Tech/ME)
      Year of Passout
      2012/2013/2014
      Branches
      All
      Percentage/CGPA Cutoff
      65% or 6.5 CGPA in the highest education
      Applicant must have no backlogs at the time of IBM Placement process on Campus
      i.e for BE Students-- BE CGPA must be 6.5 & above (No restriction on 10th, PUC/Diploma Scores)
      for MTech Students-- MTech CGPA must be 6.5 & above
      (No restriction on 10th, PUC/Diploma , BE Scores)
      for MCA Students-- MCA CGPA must be 6.5 & above
      (No restriction on 10th, PUC/Diploma , Degree Scores)
    Compensation
    		3.15 lac I This includes a one-time component of 25k upon joining.

About the Job
Job Description
Support problem and change tickets for client support operations (e.g. storage systems or server) for work involving problem determination and implementation of changes to hardware, software, applications or network systems. These tasks are not standardized and require independent thought and problem solving to resolve. Interaction with other teams is often required to solve issues.
Work to standardize repeatable tasks and steps across multiple accounts. This may require creating documentation or scripts that can be used to solve the same problem in the future.
Team members participate once or more a day in cadence discussion on team performance. These meetings are typically led by the primary pool manager or Dispatcher. They discuss issues or challenges, and receive trouble-shooting input /advice from other team members. They may also discuss team performance trends. Primary pool team members may also separately interact and exchange information with members of cross-pool teams.
Implement medium to complex product upgrades and/or medium to complex security compliance corrections without assistance. Location of joining - Bangalore, National Capital Region (NCR), Chennai, Hyderabad. Based on business requirement the posting can be in any location within India.

Additional Information
24*7 environment. Should be willing to work in Night shift

Intel/Storage/Batch Ops/Data Engineering/IBM SAN/Service Co-ordinator/WAS
