Barcode Studio is a fast and convenient way of generating high-quality barcode images (e.g. bitmap or vector format for pressprint) without programming. Ready-to-use barcode templates support the creation of standardized barcodes.

I don't think the problem lies with ZXing.
As the barcode given in the question is a Code 128 format, which is supported by ZXing and the image attached in question is successfully scanned by ZXing Online Decoder and the output of scanned image is as:
The image is too long to be scanned properly by certain phone's camera, as ZXing receives callbacks from screen while camera is on so make sure barcode is properly focused and camera is not that shaky.

The Zint project aims to provide a complete barcode generating solution. It is hoped that Zint provides a solution which is flexible enough for professional users while at the same time takes care of as much of the processing as possible to allow easy translation from input data to barcode image.

I have a report that prints some barcodes using the built in barcode field type. Everything is working great my workstation with Jasper Suite (see below) but when I upload the report to the Jasper Server the barcode field just prints the data that should make up the barcode in a san serif font.
I'm not familiar with barcodes in JSS, but if this was a font, the most likely culprit would be a missing jar on the server side. Try adding the jar as a resource to your JRS repository (I'm assuming you want PDF output).
Seems like it's only printing the label text below the barcode. You haven't mentioned which version of JasperReports Server you're using but I checked but should be working with JasperReports Server 6.2.x. There are 2 types of barcode used by JasperReports - barbecue and barcode4j. Check if barbecue-1.5-beta1.jar and barcode4j-2.1jar files are under jasperserver/WEB-INF/lib

Other fixes and updates include the naming of the Australia Post barcodes to have been updated to the latest specifications. For PDF417, the default character set is now Latin-1 (ISO 8859-1). For EPS export, the Font Substitution feature can now use the font size from the barcode design view by choosing Default. There are more fixes like these that bring Barcode Studio to the top of the barcode creation apps list once more.
Stand-alone apps like Barcode Studio are superior to plug-ins as they offer a lot more functionality and designers who need to be able to create barcodes in their design can offer their customers a complete service that includes compliance with any existing barcode standard.
