The nest is a neatly woven cup of grasses, covered with spider webs on the outside and lined internally with soft grasses, hair or fur. I was lucky enough to spot the nest shown here first, then waited patiently for its owner to return. It turned out to be a willy wagtail. It was surprisingly very tolerant of my presence. Eggs are incubated by both sexes and if conditions are favourable they may raise up to four successive clutches in one season.
We have enjoyed your bird challenges and the benefit of your research and beautiful photography, Chris. A wagtail was close by tonight as we ate fish and chips for tea in a caravan park ! Thanks again. Doug.
We have a resident pair at the golf course, wonderful creatures and so hyperactive. I worked with an aboriginal woman from the north coast who told me that in her mob the willy could also bring news of impending death in the family.. she was wary of them but I love them.

In his latest video uploaded on June 4, Donaldson, who is known for giving away large sums of money and elaborate prizes in his videos, asked 10 contestants to compete in a series of challenges, saying the winner would get to keep the recreated factory.
In one challenge, contestants were asked to throw a white pellet, which resembled a giant mint, into a large Coca-Cola bottle. The winner of the challenge was the first person to land the pellet in the bottle, causing brown foam to spurt out and stain one of the set's walls.
During the final challenge in the video, Donaldson brought celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay onto the set to judge the contestants, who were asked to make a chocolate dessert which Ramsay would score out of 20.
Join Flint for a Trivia Challenge! The link to this challenge will be posted on the Flint Public Library Facebook page at noon on Thursday, June 17th and will remain active until noon on Wednesday, June 30th!
As a way of ingesting alcohol, a chilly willy is similar to taking a shot, but since it is snorted, it can lead to faster intoxication. Usually done with vodka, a chilly willy is often issued as a party challenge or done for quick inebriation. Due to vodka usually being served cold, a chilly willy shot should feel chilly as it is done, hence the name.
Although an Urban Dictionary article appeared in 2003 defining the phrase, chilly willy came into greater prominence when multiple news sources labeled it a dangerous activity. These sources include the Washington Examiner in 2007 and an Argentinian publication, MDZ Online, in 2011.
There are several videos of people doing a chilly willy on YouTube, usually as a challenge. The videos consist of them taking the alcohol through their nose and their reactions to their own quick inebriation.
Although not widely popular among most young people, a certain group of youth who like to party use chilly willy to describe a well-known activity. It may be a regional occurrence, as there has been coverage of it in South America and in the Midwest to Western United States.
This is not meant to be a formal definition of chilly willy like most terms we define on Dictionary.com, but is rather an informal word summary that hopefully touches upon the key aspects of the meaning and usage of chilly willy that will help our users expand their word mastery.
FoodChallenges.com is a one stop shop for anybody considering attempting a local food challenge or entering the world of competitive eating. Find. Learn. Train. Connect. Conquer. The idea was first developed in 2010, and started out as just a dream. Competitive eating and food challenges is generally called dangerous, gluttonous, wasteful, unhealthy, and promoting obesity. This ignorance stems from the fact that people have very little knowledge, awareness, and understanding of the sport. When people are ignorant, they are quick to criticize and judge the sport and the people involved with it. We are here to change that, and need your help!!
This is the kind of small gameplay element I love in Drag Race. While this show is not Survivor or Big Brother (tell that to the UK vs The World Season 1 cast), drag as an art form does welcome the idea of using the opportunities available to you. To give Salina a chance to choose her own destiny in this challenge, basically, is a fun twist. And boy, does Salina run with it: she makes the play of the game by stealing Mistress away from Marcia.
The direct sequencing of uncultivable organisms present in complex biological and environmental samples has opportunities to discover new life forms and metabolic processes. This transformational field, known as metagenomics, is generating massive amounts of molecular information that can overwhelm the performance of conventional analysis and visualization algorithms. Here, I briefly highlight some of the emerging challenges this new discipline presents to the computational biology community and point some of the opportunities to develop applications that can translate metagenomic information into biomedical, agricultural, environmental, and industrial applications.
