My stock throwout bearing died after 99k miles, so I decided to throw in an upgraded clutch at the same time.

Install was very typical of any clutch, no surprises. Don't forget that the stock pressure plate bolts are not intended for reuse. Buy some new oem bolts or upgrade to a set from ARP which are reusable.

The kit comes with the pressure plate, clutch disc, throwout bearing, alignment tool, and clutch disc spline lubricant.

The LE1-HDSS HD is noticeably stronger then the stock clutch. For me, it was somewhat difficult to drive durring the break in period; It didn't want to slip nicely at parking lot speeds.

I can't say that the pedal pressure is noticeably higher, it feels very similar to the stock clutch to me.

I'm planning on adding a supercharger to my Elise, so this was a perfect compromise between stock feel and higher holding power.
