Based on the previous reviews, I guess there may be a defective lot. I ordered one, it was not working fine. Whenever the bass speaker kicks in, you could hear a loud crack noise, the noise that damaged speakers make. I returned the item and ordered another one (we really like the design). Same problem. Some songs will play OK, since their bass is not too demanding. But others is just horrible. And I tested it using 100% digital music and 3 different inputs, to be sure the problem was not on the source.
