We got this chair in yellow chenille. The chenille is like a very large wale corduroy. The yellow is pale and soft; not bright or jarring. The color in the pictures online is pretty true.

We got this chair because we were looking for an inexpensive upholstered glider to rock/nurse our baby, and I wanted it to swivel. This chair, when we bought it, was $160 cheaper than the next cheapest upholstered rocker on Amazon and was also substantially cheaper than at the big box baby store. The price fluctuated quite a bit while it was in my cart for a week, so be aware of that.

Before we bought, we saw this chair (in a different color) at a big box baby store and tried it out. I'm 5'5" and found it very comfortable in the store, although the back is a little low. The seat cushion of the chair we got is a little less comfortable, but I think it just needs to be broken in.

We have another upholstered glider from a fancy furniture store (PB) that retails around $800. The more expensive chair has a higher back, a higher seat, and a deeper rock/glide motion. This Newco chair has a bit of a shallow rock. I don't mind the lower seat, though, because I can rock/glide without an ottoman, which I prefer.

Chair came fully assembled, and quickly -- ordered on a Monday, got it on Thursday.
