The head-and foot boards are lovely just as pictured. However, I was either shipped the wrong (brown) frame or else the image on Amazon is deceptive. First, there were NO RAILS. It came with a brown frame. The directions for the headboard and foot board indicated screw holes where there were none, and the only way to make these pieces hold onto the frame is to have the frame be outside on each leg, a completely unacceptable solution and look. I have a replacement on the way, so hopefully I was just sent the wrong frame or something. I gave it two stars because I do like the headboard and foot board themselves. But I would give it no stars if the replacement being sent comes in the same way. Too bad. Amazon's policy is great, though, and other than dis assembly and carrying to UPS store, I don't have to pay for the return at least.
