This item is defective, the springs on the bed to sofa mechanism are too small, also the item I received was missing square plastic clips that go over the top bunk mattress support bars. I contacted the distributor Walker Edison and they would not send larger springs for the sofa to bed mechanism, also they refused to send the missing plastic clips and they told me to contact Amazon or just return it, which I did. What a waste of time and work to assemble then disassemble and repack the junk defective bed, I told Walker Edison that I will never buy a junk product from there defunct so called company.
