The Pinecrest is composed of single family homes, townhouses and condominiums nestled on more than 35 acres next to a Fairfax County public golf course, yet within walking distance of shops, restaurants and neighorhood amenities including the fabulous Green Springs Gardens.
We are conveniently located inside the Washington Beltway, roughly 11 miles from Washington, D.C. Historic Old Town Alexandria Virginia is about 10 miles to our east and the foothills of Prince William County, Virginia are only 35 miles to our west.
The Pinecrest condos community is made up of homes and condominiums which are nestled in over thirty-five bucolic acres adjacent to the public golf course of Fairfax County in Alexandria, VA. It is located conveniently inside the Washington beltway and is about eleven miles from Washington, DC. Around ten miles to the east of the community, you can find Historic Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, and thirty-five miles to the west is the foothills of Prince William County, Virginia.
The residents at Pinecrest and their guests can enjoy two great play areas which are designed specifically for children in particular age groups. The first tot lot is found behind Shetland Green Road and Sawgrass Court and is made for kids between two and five years old. The other tot lot, found next to the tennis courts, was made for kids between five and twelve years old. Any children under twelve have to be accompanied by their parents or another adult with no exceptions to this rule.
Pinecrest also has two ponds and gazebos. The main pond is adjacent to the tennis courts. There are Neighborhood Watch events held at the Gazebo in this area, such as the annual Halloween Party and National Night Out. The secondary Gazebo decorates the pond which is nearest the golf course.
The Pinecrest community was made out of the former Pinecrest Golf Course with 18 holes. The nine-hole Fairfax County Pinecrest Golf Course is still surrounding the Pinecrest. At the golf course, they offer lessons for old and young, plus camps for children of all ages.

The exterior area is designed for a swimming pool and changing rooms with outdoor shower areas and some open space courts. The apartment on 2nd - 7th floor are residential 3 and 4 bedrooms units. The design concept started with a desire for a simple contemporary building with appropriate usage of various functional spaces. The basic intention is not to create an opulent architecture, but to create a design of spaces which project warmth and personal. Therefore the aim of producing a characterize of a domestic structure became more important than being trendy.
