Michael did you join our panel or submit your own with Rennie?  For some reason I thought we lost you because you had already submitted...maybe I'm hallucinating?

I am down, although I am going to ask if there's any way our panel can be on the weekend.  I just got a new full full time job at BAM managing the DanceMotion USA tours (Rennie is one of the artists) and we are full on through June so it will be hard for me to take a weekday off...

Still on the academic market but needed a job pronto!  So many applications out and not a single bite, so I guess arts admin wins again...we'll see what happens in the fall.

email them and see what's up - they probably did panels first or something.  how could they not accept a paper on butoh and rennie, the philly god???  it's probably just late or backed up or something.

Tanya, you guessed right. I proposed a lec-dem about my collab with Rennie, but I guess no bite. (Did you all hear via mail or email?) I thought I'd get in after last year when the keynote speaker praised me in front of the entire conference (geez, that was seriously embarrassing). Anyhoo, all the best, you guys. I'm sure you'll do great, especially since, to be honest, I was really not impressed at all by the average quality last year. You're all doing more interesting research than most folks.

Also Michael, the few times I have proposed something that was NOT a paper, I always heard late, and it is very hard to imagine that they would not accept your proposal!! Really. If for some bizarre reason they do not, of course join us ;-)

Dear Butoh 'Scapes, I also got the acceptance as an individual and immediately sent back a note saying What'sup? we are two panels etc. what does this mean etc. But I have not yet received a response, I will do this again. I was with SanSan today at UCB doing a "butoh" seminar (Kaseki Yuko is doing a contemporary dance/butoh workshop here on Thurs.) and SanSan said she was asked to be on a panel that was accepted at SDHS. SO, I will get on it right now to recontact them all. 
If anyone has a date preference let's confer with the whole group and then we will send in our requests together. Please check your calenders, send these into Rosemary and I.
