A Message From Your Toastmaster Club Treasurer

 

It’s time for going back to school, watching the leaves turn color, and paying your semi-annual Toastmaster dues!  The semi-annual fee is $36.

 

The next cycle runs from October 1, 2014 through March 31, 2015.  If you could bring a check, cash or credit card information (which will be shredded after I use it to pay dues) to one of the upcoming meetings during the rest of September, that would be great.

 

If you are on the fence at all, I would encourage you to stay with it for at least another 6-month cycle, and maybe even convince a friend or two to join us.  We talked with our Metro Division Governor in the meeting this week, and that got me fired up to take better advantage of the opportunities in Toastmasters.  He offered to send 1 or 2 Club Coaches our way to help boost membership, help us make steadier progress toward our personal speaking and leadership goals, and help us in whatever other areas there are where we need to grow as a Club.  So, there are lots of good things happening in addition to our weekly meetings, which I always enjoy, as we move forward in the next semi-annual cycle.

 

If you want a receipt, just let me know at thomas....@fsis.usda.gov and I’ll bring your receipt to our upcoming meetings on the 15^th, 22^nd, or 29^th of this month.  Also feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
