World Book Night
Indianapolis, IND - January 7, 2013 - Do you want to share your love of reading? World Book Night, which takes place on April 23, 2013, works to distribute half a million books that have been chosen by an independent panel. Those books are passed out to groups, areas, or people that may not have access to books otherwise. This global program strives to encourage the love of reading and unite communities through literature. If you are interested in participating in this free event by being a giver, please visit WorldBookNight.org by January 25 to apply. The website has information on the application process, the history of the program, and a list of the chosen books.
Kids Ink Children’s Bookstore is excited to be a part of the second year of World Book Night in the United States and will be a distributor for the event. After a strong turnout last year, Kids Ink hopes for another successful night of spreading the love of reading through this unique literary movement.
