Here is the latest news from the Reading Buses group of companies.
Reading Buses
186 was placed into reserve on 8 February.
205 returned on 25 February following a full rebuild of its electric driveline at Magtec, and is being prepared for a further trial in service. It remains in old yellow 26 livery.
707 gained Charity of the Year adverts for “New Beginnings” on 11 February. These are confined to the advert frames only. Ongoing charity bus 1202 will retain its wrap for the outgoing charity “Sport in Mind” for the time being.
758 gained Platinum Jubilee lettering on base generic silver swooshes livery for launch on 6 February
Newbury & District
1420 received N&D vinyls on its base white livery on 1 March.
Thames Valley Buses
Repaint of 781 into Green Line 703 livery was completed on 10 February, returning to service on 21 February.
782 continues to run in plain red, and is to follow shortly.
