Here is the latest fleet news from the Reading Buses group of companies.
Reading Buses
We have purchased two ADL Enviro200 classics YX18 KUH & YX18 KYE that were most recently with Lloyds Coaches and will become 648 and 649 in the fleet. They arrived on 6 August. They will initially operate in Reading to help cover network enhancements in the short term, but are ultimately intended to replace buses at Thames Valley when more permanent vehicles arrive.
Three ADL Enviro200MMCs are expected imminently on short term loan from Dawson Group to operate the restored Winnersh Triangle park & ride 500 from 19 August, also pending more permanent vehicles arriving.
Alexander Dennis Enviro400EV demonstrator 1008 was returned on 13 July.
Ex-Stagecoach 440-442 (YR14 CFM/N/O) entered service on 29 July as planned in full aqua 28 livery. 443 (YN14 CGX) is imminent.
429 returned from repaint into new leopard 3 (orbits) livery on 17 July, and returned to service on 18 July.
425 went away for repaint into new leopard 3 (orbits) livery on 17 July, and returned to service on 31 July.
679 returned from repaint (existing little berries livery) and interior refurbishment on 17 July.
759 returned from repaint into generic silver (orbits) and retrim on 18 July, and returned to service on 7 August.
803 passed to Ripley (dealer) for scrap on approx. 12 July, followed by 810 on 15 July and 182 & 186 on 6 August.
1203, 1205, 1206, 1207 remain on site in reserve, and 382 pending transfer to Thames Valley Buses.
