Here are this month’s updates.
Reading Buses
177 and 179 departed on 22 April, directly to Geoff Ripley for buyer Chartwell Bus & Coach.
211 remains away at Loansdean for hybrid repower.
210 returned from B&CW in base yellow 26 livery on 28 April and will be vinyled on 14 May before returning to service.
214 went away to Loansdean for hybrid repower on 28 April. This leaves 212 as the last remaining hybrid in the fleet!
407 returned from repaint into Winnersh P&R livery (ex greenwave) on 9 April.
405 returned from repaint into Winnersh P&R livery (ex greenwave) on 9 April.
406 went away for repaint into Winnersh P&R livery (ex greenwave) on 9 April, returning on 28 April.
706 returned from repaint into greenwave 50 livery (ex advertising livery) on 9 April.
708 returned from repaint into greenwave 50 livery (ex purple 17) on 15 April.
21 went on loan to N&D from 1 April until 11 April.
801 and 805 gained silver Hanover displays on 17/18 April in place of Mobitec, leaving only 807-9 left in the Reading fleet with Mobitec units.
1203 and 1207 came in on loan from N&D from 19 April to support the restart of the remaining services, and were briefly also joined by 1205 on 26 April but this was returned after service on 29 April. The other two are expected to remain until July.
520, 701-5 remain SORN, and 1415-17 out of use. 700 joined the list of vehicles out of use from 23 April.
Newbury & District
21 came in loan from Reading Buses on 1 April until 11 April, only seeing service on 1 April.
1203 and 1207 went on loan to Reading Buses from 19 April
1205 went on loan to Reading from 26 April, returning to N&D service on 30 April.
865/66 gained Hanover destinations on 10/11 April both previously having Mobitecs.
Courtney Buses
665 was repainted into Thames Valley generic livery (ex Courtney 171/2), with vinyls fitted on 26 April.
675 is currently being repainted into Thames Valley generic livery (ex Courtney dark green).
