Dear all,

 

Here is the latest fleet news from Reading Buses.

 

 

Reading Buses

21 was delivered on 6 March and entered service on 17 March.

 

The next batch of Alexander Dennis Enviro400EV’s have been delivered pending expected entry into service in April, with details as follows:

451 entered service on 9 March in Buzz livery, completing the deployment of the former Stagecoach vehicles.

 

416 returned from interior refurbishment on 6 March, returning to service on 9 March.

415/417 went away to Bus & Coach World, Blackburn for interior refurbishment on 14 March.

700 returned from repaint into pink 22/25 livery (ex royal blue) and interior refurbishment on 7 March, returning to service on 12 March.

753/754 went away to Bus & Coach World, Blackburn for repaint into orange 13/14 livery (ex claret and Sky advertising livery) and retrim on 6 March.

752 went into reserve on 5 February pending departure for repaint and retrim on return of 753/754. This will also be going into orange 13/14 livery (ex claret).

 

211, 219, 222, 227, 1202, 1210 have been sold to Notts & Derby, with 222/1202 departing on 8 March, 227 on 9 March, 219 on 12 March, 1210 on 30 March, 211 on 31 March. Four further vehicles are expected to follow once repaints return.

1208 has been sold to Stotts, departing on 18 March.

201, 213, 233 have been sold to Chartwell Bus Sales, 233 leaving on 19 March, and 201/213 on 30 March. 201/213 have subsequently appeared with Nolan Coaches.

901 was withdrawn following a low bridge accident on 9 March pending a decision about its future.

212, 213, 806, 1211 remain on site pending collection by new owners.

 

 

Newbury & District

No news this month.

 

 

Thames Valley Buses

126 was sold to Chartwell Bus Sales on 1 March 2026.

1209 was withdrawn on 16 March and sold to Stotts, departing on 20 March to join sister vehicle 1208 there.

689 entered service on 31 March. 1009 continues in short term use.

 

129 & 130 remain on site for sale, and 191 stored for Dawson Rentals.
