Here is the latest fleet news from Reading Buses.
Reading Buses
206, 209, 210, 224, 225, 226, 228, 229, 230, 231 have been sold to Chartwell Bus Sales, departing a few days after withdrawal last month.
789 transferred to N&D after use in the morning of 22 June.
410 returned to service following repaint into Hospital park & ride livery on 18 June (ex ruby 10).
752-754 returned from repaint and refurbishment into orange livery on 12 June, and are stored pending the completion of 757/8.
757 went away for repaint and refurbishment into orange livery on 12 June, returning on 2 July, and is stored pending the completion of 758.
758 went away for repaint and refurbishment on 2 July.
24 went away for repaint into emerald livery on 1 June, returning on 22 June. It is stored pending the completion of 23/25.
23 went away for repaint into emerald livery on 22 June.
901 and 1211 remain in store pending departure for new owners.
710-713 are still away for refurbishment.
Newbury & District
New are 12.2m Irizar i6S Efficient 1430-1432 YS26 UGT/U/V in Flightline 730/731 livery, which arrived on 26 June and are expected to enter service on 20 July. They are C49F with wheelchair lift and toilet, and will run in C45F configuration.
789 has transferred in from Reading on 22 June, regaining N&D lettering (ex-Reading Buses route 12 on N&D base) before returning to service on 24 June. This is for additional work.
Thames Valley Buses
688-9 were withdrawn on 23 June and 3 July respectively for return to Mistral (dealer) off lease, following service changes from 21 June. Windsor & Maidenhead branded buses released from route 20 will operate route 704 instead.
667 went for repaint into Thames Valley generic grey livery (ex-plain white) on 8 June, returning to service on 7 July.
649 went for repaint on 2 July.
129, 130 remain in store for sale, and 191 stored for Dawson Rentals.
