In advance of entering service on route 702 a couple of these buses ventured out on the University of Reading Graduation Shuttle today  - generic 731 and 733.

Mark and all,

Most of the vehicles entered service on Friday 28th July, according to the Reading Buses website route 702 seems to be known officially as The London Line from this date.  

Generic-liveried 731 entered service on Saturday 29th July on route X4. Possibly a precursor of what is to come, as the lion 4/X4 is tipped to receive similar buses in the near future.

Three of the new vehicles entered service in 28th with the last, 735, doing so the following day.  The fourt bus on Friday was 770 which had spent the night in Slough and returned to Teading that evening.

Generic 731 made its first appearance on the 702 on Tuesday although it was swapped with 733 in Slough whilst working the 11:00 ex Legoland.

Should also have added that 736 and 737 were both out on the 703 on 28th too.

Thank you for the additional information. I note the Reading Buses website states that the 703 will be rebranded from Green Line to Flightline 703 "in the next few weeks". As the route will use some of the existing Green Line vehicles alongside 736 and 737 presumably the delay is to allow these vehicles to be rebranded.
