Dear all,

 

Here is the latest from the Reading Buses group of companies.

 

Reading Buses

432 returned from repaint into lime orbits livery on 7 November, returning to service on 8 November. 433/4 are still away for similar.

809 has been sold for scrap to PVS Barnsley, being taken away on 15 November.

Various vehicles, roughly one per brand, including 209, 211, 411, 416, 419, 425, 435, 702, 707, 710, 718, 751 wore remembrance poppies from 31 October to 13 November.

219, 227 and 233 gained MegaRears for Santa’s Grotto at Broad St. Mall on 20 November for six weeks.

 

Former 24-26 and withdrawn 357 remain on site. 703 and 757 remain pending repair. 701 remains away.

 

 

Thames Valley Buses

667 was disposed of for scrap on 29 November.

Damaged 671 and 677 are in store in Reading, pending repair.

680 is due to be returned to Reading imminently, and replaced by 650 from N&D.

Withdrawn 457 remains in store at Reading, pending disposal.

 

 

Newbury & District

1407 was sold to Peyton Travel, Bridgend on 15 November.

1409 has also been sold to the same company but remains on site pending collection.

650 is due to go on loan to Thames Valley Buses imminently following a reduction to the Vodafone contract from 5 December.
