Dear all,
Here is the latest fleet news from the Reading Buses group of companies.
Reading Buses
716 returned from seat-back replacement 3 June
712 went for seat-back replacement on 3 June, and returned on 13 June
715 went for seat-back replacement on 17 June, and returned 27 June
718 went for seat-back replacement on 27 June
1202 returned from repaint into generic silver (ex Sport in Mind charity wrap) on 4 July
420 went away for repaint on 4 July
Correcting last month’s update, due to an error by ADL, 736 has been registered GL23 LHR and 737 GL23 BKL rather than vice versa, so the plates they were delivered with have been swapped over.
Also, the seating capacity of 731-5 is 77 not 76 as previously stated. 736-7 are 76.
732 was delivered on 2 June
734 was delivered on 16 June
737 was delivered on 12 June
We have yet to set a firm date for entry into service following the official handover which took place on 5 July, and driver training is starting shortly.
Newbury & District
1409 was sold for scrap on 23 June.
Thames Valley Buses
670 is being prepared for repaint into Thames Valley Bracknell (yellow) livery.
Regards,
Robert
